Generally the cells of body line from days to years When the old one dies, the new one is made again from blood.
Death is the end of all. It destroys everything. It gives the cold winter to all things. It gives you old age and sickness. It carries away the man who gathers the flowers of sensuous passions, even as a torrent of rushing waters overflows a sleeping village, and then runs forward on its way. And it makes an end of the man who ever thirsty for wealth and power. Considering his mortality, man seeds for immortal Life or truth or something eternal. At last he finds out the path of Immortal its hidden not outside but in the mystery of consciousness, and starts his spiritual pilgrimage. He witnesses within his mind the lust of desire which is the cause of all sufferings, and he realizes that the immortality cannot be attained unless he guards ant restrains his worldly mind. Thereafter, he tries to control his mind. He knows that the man whose mind in calm self-control is free from the lust of desires and the bonds of death. He knows that the supreme peace and eternal happiness is right beyond his transient mind. So he endeavors to make his mind strong like a fortress. He tries to strengthen his mind in self-control. But he fails to guard his wavering and restless mind, because it is really difficult to conquer the unsteady and restless mind. In fact, the man who conquers himself is the man who conquers this world, because this world is nothing more than the right projection of his mind. Do you think Alexander and Napoleon were the great conquerors? No ! they were not the conquerors. On the contrary, they were nothing more than the world beaten figures. In a sense, they were inferior to the great beggar, Diogenes. On the one hand, they were conquering the world. On the other hand, they were being conquered by the world, and the last winner was the world. Like a fish which is thrown on dry sands, taken from his home in the waters, though they strove and struggled to get free from the sickness and the power of death, all in vain. The biggest enemy, Death swallowed up their life. What a sad thing ! Their glorious body fell lifeless an the earth, cast aside as a useless log Socrates, Gonfucius, Gautama Buddha, Jesus and other wise men were the same. Even if they sought for immortality, all were swallowed up by Death, because Death was not conquered by them. Look around the world. The Death is still overwhelming the world, remaining the last enemy to be destroyed. Therefore, the long fight between life and death has not finished yet. If you think the fight was finished by so called Christ or Buddha, that is a terrible misunderstanding. It is no problem of life and death. Truly speaking, the fight between the good and the evil is going on even at this moment. Witness your mind. Don't you see the struggling between conscience and desire? Don't you see the conflict between sin and righteousness? So don't be unaware. Be alert and watchful. Work ! Until the enemy, Death, is rooted out, work. Through work, overcome yourself. Trough work, destroy death. Through work, conquer the world. Don't go into the woods for meditation. Stay here in daily life, and work. Through the mortification of the flesh, you cannot overcome death. Mortification must be the mortification of mind, and the mortification of mind cannot be practiced in the woods or temple. Only through work in daily life, it can be practiced. So the word, "Work" has a special meaning here ***
